confirmation - year one

welcoming our teens and fostering a community that is pointed towards the heart of god

All teens in their first year of seeking the Sacrament of Confirmation are year one teens. These are most often ninth grade teens, but can also be in tenth, eleventh or twelfth grade.

what does year one look like?

The majority of Year One preparation is attending our weekly Youth Groups to grow in community and faith

parish life

Begin your hours to participate in the life of the Church at our parish and the community

retreat

Join us on our Fall or Winter retreats
at Camp Covecrest in Tiger, Georgia

paperwork

Turn in initial paperwork to verify you have received Baptism and First Communion

our service hour and retreat requirements must be fulfilled by the end of year two, but teens can complete them in year one

refunds

No refunds will be issued within two weeks of the first day of scheduled Youth Groups

Last Refunds on August 25th

All teens are required to be registered to attend Faith Formation classes

The High School Formation registration includes Confirmation
 

Your family must be registered at a parish within the Archdiocese of Atlanta

rates per child

Standard Registration: $110
 

Child of Catechist: $40
This rate is available for those who assist in teaching our children at any Faith Formation grade level

Scholarship: $55 (Half) & $5 (Full)
This rate requires prior approval - reach out to Kevin Conner before registering
If you register without approval we will refund your registration and ask you to re-register
